Yorkshire Terriers have human like hair and are considered hypoallergenic. Teacup Yorkies are intelligent working dogs. They were originally bred in England to catch mice and rats. Yorkies are usually about 9 inches tall and weigh 5-7 pounds. It’s easy to train them because they learn very quickly. Yorkies don’t like to be home alone. Grooming is required daily. Yorkies are great dogs for single people or families with older kids.
