Teacup Yorkies


Teacup Yorkies originated in England in the 1800′s. They were first used as a hunting dogs. Their weight is about 4 to 7 pounds an they their height is up to 9 inches to the shoulder. Teacup Yorkies are small cute dogs with compact body, bright eyes and medium sized muzzle. This type of teacup breed has an ability to perform tricks. Their litter size is about 2 to 3 puppies. Usually their pregnany lasts between 58 to 63 days. Teacup Yorkies are very intelligent, loyal and devoted to their owners. They are very affectionate dogs and are happy inside the house. They are really not that much active. They were originally bred for hunting small vermin, and were also bred as toy dogs to amuse the rich and famous. The Yorkies were first registered by the AKC in 1936. Their coat is blue grey and their facem chest and feet are bright tan. Their coat is usually long, fine and silky.
