A Morkie is a cross between the Maltese and the Yorkshire Terrier breed. It’s not a pure breed dog, but it’s still popular among celebrities because of it’s cute and small appearance. A morkie usually has very soft coat which is apricot, white, brown, black or tan. The coat colors fades as the dog gets older and turns into silver grayish color.
Morkies are really small due to the fact that both parents are small breed dogs. Morkies coat gets long and flowing. The ears may be either dropped like a Maltese or erect like a Yorkie. Morkies are small dogs and are recommened for adult owners. They don’t make good pets around small children because they can get easily injured or killed due to their size. These tiny dogs would do great in small apartments or homes because they don’t need a lot of exercise. They are lap dogs and like to be taken everywhere with their owner. Morkies don’t like to be left home alone. They are just like babies and like to be carried around. Morkies are playful, energetic, caring and protective dogs. They like to be attached to just one person and that’s usually their owner. They make excellent companions and pets. Morkies are one of the smallest and cutest dogs on the Earth. Their life span is not long and they might be prone to some smaller health issues but, Morkies are worth it. Their behavior and characteristics will make anyone fall in love with this breed.

The Chihuahua breed was first registered by the American Kennel Club in 1904. This breed was discovered in the Chihuahua state which is a region in Mexico bordering with Texas and New Mexico. That’s how the breed got its name. The Chihuahua breed is the worlds smallest dog.

Chihuahuas ancestors are the ancient Techichi dogs of the Toltec Civilization who lived near Mexico City. When the Aztecs conquered the Totec’s they turned these dogs to sacred icons of the upper class. These dogs also had religious meaning. They used to be much larger than todays Chihuahuas. They were bred with an oriental dog that was hairless which gave Chihuahuas more of the look they have now.
Chihuahuas history remains mysterious because noone knows for sure who brought them, when and how they arrived in Central America. When Christopher Columbus arrived in Cuba, he said the he had found a small dog in the island. It’s believed that he saw a Chihuahua. Small sized Chihuahuas are known as Teacup Chihuahuas. This breed remains a favorite among teacups. It makes an excellent pet and companion. Chihuahuas come in different coat colors including brown, beige, white and black. They are easily trained and make excellent pets for small houses and apartments.

The Chihuahua is one of the smallest breeds of dog. It is named after a Mexican state of Chihuahua. There are many legends regarding the origin of this dog. It is believed that Chihuahuas originated in Mexico. There are also some historians that think that Chihuahuas came from the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. The breed was recognized by the AKC in 1904. They are usually up to 10 inches tall and weigh under 3 kilograms. Their life span is between 10 to 17 years. Chihuahuas come in white, black, tan and many other colors. Their litter size is usually 4.

There are two types of Chihuahua dogs that are recognized by most major kennel clubs, including a long haired Chihuahua and a short haired Chihuahua. They belong to the same breed, but the only difference is their coats. Most common coat colors are fawn, red, cream, chocolate, blue and black. Chihuahuas may have a bad temperament if not trained properly. They make good pets with grown ups that are patient and calm. These dogs can be protective over its owners and are fiercly loyal. They may not always get along with other dog breeds. Chihuahuas are usually healthy dogs, but may require some veterinary attention with birthing and dental care. They are also prone to neurological anomalies such as seizures.

Chihuahuas are the only dogs to be born with moleras which is an incomplete skull. Their skull will form during the first six months of their life. Some moleras may not close at all which requires attention and care to prevent the Chihuahua from injuring. Chihuahuas are loving and affectionate dogs that become easily attacked to their owners. They are loyal and make excellent pets and companions. In Mexico, this breed is commonly known as Chihuahueno or New Yorker.
